Chandigarh/Haryana Mango Festival:
Hosted in Pinjore Gardens (Haryana), Chandigarh tastes exotic mangoes mostly in June and July. Celebrated with grandeur, the event is marked with a festive spirit. People from all over the country come here to witness the unique varieties on display. Cultural programs, quiz contests, mango eating competitions add flavor to this phenomenal gastronomic delight.
Venue: Pinjore Gardens, Haryana

#How to Reach: Take any of the cheap flights to Chandigarh from US. Then get a bus from Chandigarh Sec 43 or Sec 17 towards Pinjore. Or hire a cab for the same. On NH5 (National Highway 5) you can reach the destination within an hour or so.

Mumbai Mango Festival:
Mumbai hosts this festival in both the main city and its main agricultural towns. The first two phases are already over. A total of 30 stalls would be delighting the stalls this year. Hapus, Rajapuri, Payri , Raigadd are some of the top summer fruit lists you cannot miss.
Venues (main city): HMB Colony Ground, Borivali West till 19th May,Sambhaji Raje Ground, Mulund, till 28th May
Venue (outside Mumbai): Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango Tour, 17-19th May

How to reach: After booking any of the cheap flights to Mumbai, get down at the Mumbai Airport and head towards Borivali.
Delhi International Mango Festival:
In the capital, the festival kickstarted in 1987. It has been a favorite among the people even today. Delhites love food and Mango mania is just one another level of food madness. You can enjoy free tasting of some really good varieties like Mumbai Green, Kesar, Fazli, Alphonso, Totapari, Mallika, Rataul, Himsagar, Amrapali, and Banganpalli etc.
*Mango eating competitions, quizzes, and slogan writing are some of the major highlights.

Venue: Dillihaat, Pitampura, North Delhi
How to Reach: Once you land in Delhi, board the Red Line Metro towards Rithala and get down at Netaji Subhash Place. The Dilli Haat is at a walking distance of 2 mins from there. Choose any of the cheap flights to Delhi and follow the rest.
***There is Mango Ride in Hyderabad on 20th May. It’s a cycling event in Balanagar in Hyderabad.
You can hop onto your cycle at the event and get some mangoes loaded as a prize.
